FAQ 36th EPS 2020 & 12th IPS has been postponed to 2022

New dates for the Symposium: from August 28th to September 2nd, 2022

Due to the elevated level of alert and special confinement measures enforced by the Health Authorities regarding the world situation of the coronavirus COVID-19 and the recommendation not to attend conferences and events worldwide, 36th EPS2020 and 12th IPS  has been forced to postpone the Symposium to 2022.



All paid registrations will be maintained and will be valid for the new dates of the Symposium.

I cannot attend the Symposium. What should I do? Please contact the Technical Secretariat to eps2022@bcocongresos.com



¿Is the Hotel Meliá Sitges the venue? Yes, it is. The official hotel and venue is still being the Hotel Meliá Sitges

What happens with my hotel reservation? If you have booked your reservation at Hotel Meliá Sitges throughout the official form of the Technical Secretariat, BCO Congress, your booking remains for the new dates. Please, verify with the Technical Secretariat the new required dates on eps2022@bcocongresos.com

Could I change the name of my registration?If you cannot attend the Symposium, you can transfer your registration. If the booking has not been done through the official site, please contact your agency or hotel.



I have already booked my flight. What should I do? At EPS we are very concerned that you can make your flight change with the least possible difficulties.

NOTE: Airline policies are undergoing frequent changes regarding flight changes due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 alert.

Please check your flight's company website to check the most updated information. You might have already been contacted by e-mail indicating how to proceed with your flight.


Scientific Programme

36th EPS2022 and 12th IPS Scientific Program 36th European and 12th International Peptide Symposium, (EPS 2022) will be held with the same scientific program and invited speakers, if possible.

Meeting at a glance

Oral Communications and posters The Symposium will be held with the same scheme originally programmed (from Sunday to Friday); reason why our intention is to maintain as much as possible the scientific programme and the organization of the oral communications and posters.

For this, we inform that we are guaranteeing the space of all oral communications and posters which have been confirmed and have its presenting author registered. You can consult the schedule of the thematic conferences in the following link.

Registration of presenting authors. The presenting authors of communications (oral or poster) should be registered before 31th March 2022.

Submission of communications. The deadline for sending extra communications, oral and poster, for presentation at the Symposium opens again, to cover. The non-extendable deadline is on February 1st, 2022.

Grants. All grants accepted will be maintained and will be valid for the new dates of the Symposium.

The organizers, with full support from the European Peptide Society Executive Committee, have made a special financial effort to favour the participation of young peptide scientists. As a result, we are happy to announce that all applications for waived registration from young participants (Ph. D. students, early postdocs) received so far are being honoured.


We are sorry for the inconveniences that this change of dates might affect you and we thank you in advance for your understanding for these exceptional circumstances. We are confident that we will carry out an event with the highest scientific quality for all our attendees.
